Spanish Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil
We have sourced what we believe is the best olive oil in the world. Farga oil is grown on very old, grand trees in the region of Vinarós, Castellón, in Spain. Harvested by a family we know personally from their own trees that range from 300 to 1000 years old. This oil is hand processed in a local mill.
The oil holds a high aromatic complexity, and different flavours of ripe fruits (apple, banana) as well as fresh lime stand out and can be tasted.
When consumed, it has sweet notes, like almonds, without bitterness but with a slightly spicy note. Farga Olive Oil can be used for the preparation of salads, or for cooking fish and meat, even at high cooking temperatures.
This is a very dark and aromatic oil, it is a lot better quality than even the best olive oils usually available in Ireland.
Our olive oil has an acid content of less than 0.4%. Sold in 250ml Marasca bottles.
